This is the first book done just on this locomotives. It is seen inside and out and in operation on the Sumpter Valley Railway in Baker, Oregon. This is one of the few 3' gauge Heisler type locomotives in operation in the US today and it is riding the rails it did when in service with the W. H. Eccles Lumber Company. Though the W. H. Eccles Lumber Company was a separate business, it was owned by a relative of one of the founders of the Sumpter Valley and was used to get their lumber products down
to the SV and interchange with the standard gauge. As part of the typical short
line 3' gauge and logging crews, a set of antlers are attached over the headlight.
This book also shows full underside views to highlight the Heisler drive train.
This book has 50 pages with 114 B&W photos
This book is spiral bound so it lays flat and has heavy duty,

8 1/2" tall and 5 1/2" wide.
