Our Quick Pic Book series shows the subjects in extensive black & white photographs which have often been digitally edited to best exhibit the details.

This volume shows all the details on these cars. Originally built with

exterior end truss rods like the 3000 series boxcars, they were discarded

early on with these too. This book shows the major side and lettering

configurations along with details for both deck configurations. Also there

is extensive detail on the doors and opening/closing mechanisms as those

are often misunderstood by modelers. Door, truck, underframe and draft

gear details are shown along with roofing from on top and inside the cars.
