photographs which have often been digitally edited to best exhibit the details.
This book shows the entire carbody, inside and out and even underneath and on
top for this car. There are a number of photos showing how the doors latched and the many features of these cars that lead one to believe that like the DRGW 3000 boxcars, DRGW 5500 stock cars, and others...that this car too had an external
end truss rod when built. This book is filled with photos that have rulers present
so you can see exactly the correct measurements of various features and
components and it shows this class had the standard C&S Brake rigging with the outside the truck hangers and overall is in surprisingly good repair considering it
is shown on exhibit outside at the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden, CO.
