This book contains drawings of the equipment that was operating
throughout the New York Central Railroad System just before PC then
Amtrak. It includes not only the normal long distance cars but also Suburban
and Commuter Cars, a large number of Business and Inspection cars,  Heavy
and lightweight cars of steel & aluminum, RDC's , and even the FlexiVan Cars.

The drawings are essentially blueprints that a skilled employee could recognize, repair, and service equipment that was in service. While much of the equipment
in here was built for the NYC and subsidiary lines some was built by them
in their own shops using their own designs and copies of proven designs.

This data is something that each railroad had on hand for their crews operating
the trains and the shops in the areas concerned. In the case where repairs
were necessary these were used to help restore damaged equipment.
Due to the poor quality of the originals many of the folios required editing

One of the most special parts of this book is that it contains the roster of
the passenger type cars for the road in table form and gives details specific
to a given car in many cases where those differ from the rest of the class
such as when they may have been modified for a different use on the road.

This book has 69 pages with 68 folios & tables.
Below are some sample pages from the book.
