This book contains drawings of the equipment that was providing
motive power throughout the L&N rails right up to the time the road merged
with the Seaboard Coast Line in 1982 and then onward under the L&N / SCL
banner until it all was merged into the Chessie System 4 years later.
The drawings are essentially blueprints that a skilled employee could
recognize, repair, and service equipment that was in service.
This data is something that each railroad had on hand for their crews operating
the trains and the shops in the areas concerned. In the case where repairs
were necessary these were used to help restore damaged equipment.
Due to the poor quality of the originals many of the folios required editing.
This book has 58 pages with 121 folios & tables.
