This book contains Folio drawings of the Great Northern Passenger Cars. Many of these cars were modernized cars from the 1930's but some were modern and up to the current state of the art designs of the times. Some of the more unusual cars inside are an Air Brake Instruction Car and a Red Cross Blood Donor Car.
The drawings are essentially blueprints that a skilled employee could
recognize, repair, and service equipment that was in service.
This data is something that each railroad had on hand for their crews operating
the trains and the shops in the areas concerned. In the case where repairs
were necessary these were used to help restore damaged equipment.
Due to the poor quality of the originals many of the folios required editing
but where it did not interfere with viewing we left them alone.
This book has 88 pages with 88 folios & illustrations.
