This book contains drawings of the motive power operating on the Erie Railroad right on the cusp of the Great Depression. It ended an era where the railroads of the US had mostly recovered from the USRA Management and policies of World War 1.
The power in here ranges from small yard goats up to the large Mallets.
The drawings are essentially blueprints that a skilled employee could recognize, repair, and service equipment that was in use. They also provided unit number data.
This data is something that each railroad had on hand for their crews operating
the trains and the shops in the areas concerned. In the case where repairs
were necessary these were used to help restore damaged equipment.
Due to the poor quality of the originals many of the folios required editing.
This book has 78 pages with 154 Diagrams, Illustrations, & tables.
Below are some sample pages from the book.
