These include many of the cars still on the property when the C&EI became
part of the Missouri Pacific in 1967. The MoPac had started to buy up shares
of the C&EI in 1961 so this set is especially important because it shows exactly
what the MoPac was buying in addition to the physical plant of the road.
Road Power, Passenger Power, RDC's and the Heavyweight as well as Lightweight Varnish and even Express cars are shown in this book. Also included is the table
for passenger car renumbering that ran from the 1930's through the 1950's.
The drawings are essentially blueprints that a skilled employee
could recognize, repair, and service equipment that was in service.
