This book contains the names and numbers and other data used by the Boston & Maine Railroad for their locomotive fleet in 1913.

it covers not only the name and number but also the builder number and date in many cases. It also contains the class and disposition as well as if the loco was part of acquiring another road or bought secondhand it also has that information in it.

It also includes data on leased locomotives whether they eventually ended up being acquired or not, as long as they were operated by the B&M they show up.

In editing this we chose to retain as much of the character of the original as possible where it did not interfere with legibility to include ink blots and marks even.

This resource is invaluable to the serious Boston & Maine Railroad fan & modelers.
